Project Kalshor is primarily focused on the well-being of children. Some of the highlights of Project Kalshor are:

Doorstep Toys and Book Library
A one of a kind project wherein a van carrying toys and books goes to different Aanganwadis of Vadodara city for one hour on a daily basis to give the opportunity to children to play with latest toys and also get themselves accustomed to the books meant for them. The toy library is accompanied by a trained teacher / social worker, who helps the children to get acquainted with the toys and books. This activity helps in developing interest in various play methods & group activities, thereby improving the mental abilities & social skills of the pre primary age group children. The Trust also distributes used clothes,( which are first washed, sorted and ironed) to the children in Aanganwadi as a part of this activity.

Educational Scholarship to Children
Education is fundamental right of every child. It helps in effective mental & social development of child. Many children from underprivileged section of society have to forego their formal education for want of resources. No child should be made to stay away from school due to lack of financial support. With this noble aim, the Trust tries to support such children through its limited resources by financing school fees, books, note books as per requirement. This is done after due screening of financial status of the family and a visit to school by a social worker, if so required.
The Trust is currently providing scholarship to more than 25 students per year by arranging for payment of their school fees directly to the Schools. In some cases for exceptionally deserving students, the Trust also arranges for payment of fees for special and additional coaching for such students.
